Germany, Heer. An Infantry Officer’s M38 Overseas Cap Auction Constructed of silver gilt with(Heer Schiffchen fr Offiziere). Constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, secured in place at the front by machine stitching. A band of silver aluminum wire piping fully surrounds the crown, as well as the front of the panels, indicating Officer issue.
