UNEARTH 'THE STINGS OF CONSCIENCE' LP – ONLY 300 MADE (Limited Edition Milky Clear w/ Black and Sky-Blue Splatter Vinyl) Tremonti Escape From New York isUnearth were never the most commercially successful band from the early 2000s metalcore boom, but they were undeniably one of that waves most important acts, and their 2001 debut, The Stings of Conscience, demonstrates exactly why. Songs like opener My Heart Bleeds No Longer fuse the haggard metalcore of late Nineties Converge and Botch with twirling Swedish death metal riffage, crafting a sound that's at once bone snapping and technically satisfying.
