Mourning Cloak Butterfly tabletop art The Pericycos sulawensisThe Nymphalis antiopa butterfly, native to Eurasia and North America, has a unique pattern described by L. Hugh Newman that resembles a rebellious girl wearing mourning clothes while also revealing a glimpse of her vibrant dress. The background photo was taken by Beth Watson at the Old Catholic Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. This beautiful butterfly is carefully preserved in a 6x6" frame. *Each of my framed shadow boxes are crafted for lasting beauty
