MESA INDUSTRIAL HIPERTRÓFICA Contemporary Design circa 1780Material: Iron legs with beech top Origin: France, circa 1930 Dimensions: 150 cm long x 100 cm wide x 73 cm high The industrial beauty of this table is due to the ingenious reuse of its legs, originally used by a caulker for the repair of boats; in this decontextualized use there is an unconscious and happy discovery that refers to the practices of l'objet trouv advocated by Marcel Duchamp, successfully modifying and adapting its original function.
